Coney Island? Or a desert?

Went out to Coney Island for one final day of shooting on ‘Joshua’ for Spark & Echo written and performed by John Egan.

In the final scene sees a young man alone in the desert separated from his company in a land ravaged by war. But with no deserts in the New York area we went to Coney Island Beach and worked to avoid seeing evidence of civilization. All the truck tracks serving as the evidence of a vast army that has passed through.
